Healing the fractures

In U.S. News & World Report, Mary Kate Cary wrote about the Miller Center's First Year project and its efforts to help the next president succeed. Her article, Healing the Fractures: The next president could change the nation for the better by reaching out to the other side, highlights the Miller Center's longstanding efforts to bring people together, find common ground, and address the problems facing the country. The First Year project wants to help the next president transition smoothly into office and reach across aisle to members of the other party (and to those within their own party) to accomplish some legislative goals quickly.
