On March 4, the Miller Center will join with the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy to host a special event on fiscal and financial issues in the next president’s first year. This gathering highlights the release of the third volume of the Miller Center's First Year Project: The Critical First Budget, Paying for the Next President’s Promises Without Breaking the Bank.
The program will run from 11:00AM to 12:00PM and feature a panel discussion. The event will be held in Garrett Hall, at 235 McCormick Road. It is located on UVA Central Grounds.
The distinguished panel will examine a range of topics including the critical first budget, the rising costs of health care, and how a new administration must prepare for potential economic crises. The agenda is:
